So I told my professional photography friend I was going to shoot at 1 in the afternoon and she said goodluck. I had no idea it would be that hard but she said I passed so here we go

Oregon Coast

Last trip I took to Oregon. Just going up the coast with my mom and Great Aunt. My great aunt hasn't been to the Oregon coast in a really long time so I was happy to be there with her.

Texas

A mission in San Antonio Texas. Interesting story some guy rushed up to the mission and was asking if the Father was available. When he couldn't find him he took off. Hmmmmm someone must have needed to confess something

The bottom pics are from the China Tea Garden by the zoo. Its really cool because its something you don't expect to be there and how everything is laid out.

Cal Poly Pomona has this section on campus that has various breeds of shrubs from all over California. I saw it for the first time last week....even though I've been there for 2 years.

This is really random but I looked out my window one day and this cloud looked like a plane so I took a picture of it.

life lessons.....

A boy learns an important life lesson from his hero. One of the hundreds of stories he will hear from his grandpa throughout his life........



The same boy has turned into a young man; still hearing the stories from his grandpa and still learning. The stories have different meaning now that he has grown. That boy is me and even with my grandpa's passing over 2 years ago, I am still listening to the stories and I am still learning from this man.

Love the old school look of Penny.....If I were a pro ball player I would go with the old school look with the long socks.

The wall at Angels stadium...Kind of nice how the angels put that up for Adenhart.

Just an interesting picture I took at the top of signal hill looking over Long Beach. It's a great location to relax and enjoy the thousands of lights that illuminate the sky.

Always there

This is a fun little picture that I thought didn't really mean much until I looked at it some more. The sandals and hat have been through so much with me. They have seen the worst times (break ups, death of my hero and grandpa, fights, etc..) and they have seen the best times (vegas trips with grandpa, different beaches, family vacations, soccer games etc..) Its sad that they have to be replaced but remembering what they have been through brings back all the memories of those events. I hope the new ones can be there for me when I need them to

Sadness

So this is one of the more depressing aspects of how I see things or have been seeing things recently. The trees obviously have no leaves which means they have been dead for awhile. Well I have been felling a little dead inside and just like spring brings new life to the trees, I am hoping spring will bring a new life to me in this endless cycle of seasons.

My Heaven

So my thinking is that everyone is going to have their ideal or own type of heaven. Maybe its just wishful thinking but my heaven consists of numerous different things. Baseball fields are one of the many pieces of my heaven and here is a pic to prove it.

these are the newest pics I have taken. I know there is a constant theme so far but I just think the beach is so peaceful and offers endless opportunities to take pics. I don't know why but this top pic is neat to me. I think the reflection of the lights and how the railing acts as a frame for me is cool. I really like this one because you can see the pier, sand, and then pure black. Just looks like the world ends except the lights that are out on the ocean.

Bored

Since I didn't have class today I decided to drive down to the beach and try to take some pics before the sun goes down

So Cal weather

As I was driving down PCH to go to the awesome Frog House, I looked out to the ocean to see choppy waves that looked like a storm was approaching. Yes, I should've known by the rain that I was in a little rain storm but the white caps told me of a future storm that I would encounter on my way home. As I was heading home, right about Bolsa Chica is when the huge rain storm that was predicted by the white caps hit. The rain was so hard and furious that my windshield wipers did not have enough time to clear the rain. So Cal weather is not supposed to be like this because as I sit and look out my window now its sunny. The weather needs to make up its mind and stick with whatever it wants. Hopefully it picks sunshine
